Multiple strand bracelets can be difficult to design, but there's an inexpensive little tool that makes a big difference!  Use a Bead Stopper™ on each end to help keep your strands in place and safe from accidental spills. There's no more need to cry over spilled beads!

Materials Needed:

  • 10 dark brown 12mm round coconut beads
  • 30 light brown 8mm round coconut beads
  • 25 turquoise chips
  • 25 silver 5mm spacers
  • .018" bright Beadalon 49 beading wire
  • 6 Standard Bead Stopper™ clips
  • 6 silver oval Scrimp® findings
  • 6 silver Wire Guardian™ findings
  • 2 silver 3-to-1 connectors
  • 2 silver 4mm jump rings
  • Silver lobster clasp
  • Silver extension chain
  • Silver ball head pin
  • Miniature screwdriver
  • Round-nose pliers
  • Chain-nose pliers
  • Wire Cutter

Actual length: 8 ½”*

Instructions:

1. First, arrange the beads on a beading board. Strands One and Three: three 8mm, silver, 2 turquoise, silver; repeat three more times and then add three 8mm. Strand Two: turquoise, silver, three 12mm, silver, turquoise; repeat three more times.
3. Make sure the strand patterns are the same length, then cut three 9 ½” pieces of beading wire.
4. Pass one piece of wire through each strand pattern, adding a Bead Stopper to each end of each strand as you go. (This will allow you to change the pattern if necessary and prevent beads from sliding off the ends as you work.)
5. Remove one Bead Stopper from Strand One and pass the wire end through a Scrimp® finding, Wire Guardian™, the first loop on the connector, and back through the Scrimp® finding. Repeat for the other end of the strand.
6.  Repeat Step 5 to attach Strand Two and Strand 3 to the corresponding loops on the connectors.
7. Attach a jump ring to a lobster clasp and connect the jump ring to one end of the bracelet.
8. Attach a jump ring to an extension clasp and connect the jump ring to the other end of the bracelet.
9. Pass a head pin through a turquoise chip and a silver spacer and make a wrapped loop to attach it to the end of the extension chain.

*Remember that larger beads will affect the fit of the finished bracelet. This bracelet fits a 7-8” wrist.
