Materials Needed

  • Westrim Crafts® Typewriter Keys - #28678-002, #28679-002
  • Westrim Crafts® Faceted Beads - #12562-667
  • Westrim Crafts® Tiger Tail and Crimp Beads
  • Blue Moon Beads® Toggle Clasp - #60506

Instructions

Attach two 12 inch lengths of tiger tail, one to each loop of the toggle clasp, starting with the straight bar. Secure with a crimp tube. (Hint: to create a more finished look, string one bead first, and then secure wire with a crimp tube).

String one to three more beads on each strand. An average length bracelet can have up to eleven characters. If less typewriter keys are needed, use more beads to start and finish your bracelet.

Begin stringing typewriter keys, both strands at the same time (one strand slides through the two holes at the top of the key, the other slides through the two holes at the bottom of the typewriter key). After each typewriter key, string one bead to act as a bumper between the round keys.

Some fun options are: your name preceded or followed by the punctuation character keys (#28679-002), heart&soul, inspire, live&love, cherished, free bird, serendipity.

Finish each strand with beads, less beads if you used more letters, more beads

if you used less letters. String a crimp tube, followed by one bead and attach to the round side of the toggle clasp. String tiger tail back through the first beads and crimp. Secure into place.
