There are so many ways to make beautiful, glamorous jewelry. But, how can you bring those looks into your everyday style? Here are some tips:

Take a look at your favorite special occasion necklace. What do you love about it? Are there some elements of the necklace that you can borrow for your everyday jewelry?

For example, a complex necklace with multiple pendants can be re-interpreted in a variety of ways. For something more delicate and a little less in your face, you could reduce the scale of the components. By using the same technique but making everything smaller in scale, the overall look would be a little more casual.

Or, you could duplicate one of the pendants and string it onto a chain for an easy, all-purpose touch of glam. The large crystal and wire wrapped pendant combination is strong enough to stand on its own. Plus, it's versatile enough to dress up a sweater or jeans and a t-shirt.

Using more casual materials is always an option, too. The juxtaposition of high and low is really hot right now, so think about combining metal findings and crystal elements with leather, organza and other softer materials to glamorize your everyday look.

1. Cut a patterned hematite chain to the desired necklace length and attach an EZ-Lobster™ clasp to one end.

2. Cut a 16" length of 24-gauge gunmetal Artistic Wire. Wrap it back and forth across a silver Wrappers component, stringing the following beads: 4mm black diamond, two 4mm light Colorado topaz, 4mm light gray pearl, 6mm crystal moonlight, 6mm light gray opal, 8mm smoked topaz, 9mm bronze pearl. Repeat for three pendants.

3. Pass an eye pin through a 18mm crystal and make a basic loop to attach it to a Wrappers pendant. Repeat for all of the Wrappers pendants.

4. Use a Gizmo with a small mandrel to coil 20-gauge gunmetal Artistic Wire. Cut it into eight ¼" sections.

5. Cut a 8" length of 24-gauge gunmetal Artistic Wire and make a wrapped loop. Pass the wire through one end of a Katiedids™ 35mm rectangle component, a coil, five 4mm black diamond crystals and another coil. Make a wrapped loop outside the component. Repeat for four pendants.

6. String a 6mm light gray opal crystal onto a ball head pin and make a wrapped loop to attach it to the lower loop on the rectangle pendant. Repeat for each of the pendants.

7.  Cut the following lengths of chain: two ¾", two 1 ½", two 1". Attach a 6mm gray opal beaded head pin to the last link on each chain.

8. Arrange all of the components evenly spaced across the necklace as shown. Attach the Wrappers pendant eye pins directly to the necklace. Use jump rings to attach the Katiedids pendants. Open the upper links on the chains and position them as shown.
