HOW TO USE A CONE

A cone is a wonderful finding for hiding the messy intersection of various strands in a necklace or bracelet design. Here’s how to use one:

First, take a rather long, like 3" or so, piece of wire and form a wrapped loop on one end. Repeat for a second wrapped-loop wire.

Attach one end of the stringing material you are using to one of the wrapped loops. String beads as desired, then attach the other end of the stringing material to the other wrapped loop. Repeat as many times as you want.

Then, use one wrapped-loop wire to string the wide end of one cone and form a wrapped loop that attaches to your clasp (or whatever you want it to attach to). Repeat with the other wrapped-loop wire. Remember that you’ll want to choose a cone that is large enough to accommodate the size of beads you are using and the size of the wrapped loop you’ll need to make to hold the strands.
