Tassel Earrings

24g silver plated wire
Wire coiling tool
2 Crystal Copper Rondelle crystals, 6mm
4 Indicolite bicone crystals, 6mm
2 Crystal Copper tear drop crystals, 8x10mm 8" of 20g. half hard wire (or
pre-made ear wires) 4" Silver chain, 3mm links
4 silver jump rings, 4mm
2 silver jump rings, 5 mm
2 oval rings
6 silver spacer beads, 5mm
2 silver spacer beads 4mm
4 silver head pins
torch (optional)
dowel (optional)
sand paper (optional)
chasing hammer and bench block (optional)

Work both earrings as you go:

Coil 1" of wire around the coiling tool. Cut the coil in half so you have
two, 1/2" pieces.

String one small silver spacer bead, briolette, 5mm spacer bead, indicolite
bicone bead, silver spacer, coil and silver spacer onto a head pin and
finish with a large loop.

String one indicolite bicone bead onto a head pin and finish with a loop.

Cut two 3/8" pieces of chain and two 1 1/8" pieces of chain. Attach the
crystal tear drop charm to the short end of chain with a jump ring. Attach
the indicolite bicone crystal to the long piece of chain.

Attach these two charms to either side of the loop on the coil dangle.

Make the Ear wires or connect to pre-made pair.

To make your own:
Ball up the end of a 1/2 hard wire with a torch. Make a loop at the balled
end of the wire with round nose pliers. Wrap the remaining wire around a
dowel to form an ear wire. Trim to desired length and then sand the end so
it isn't sharp. Hammer the rounded side of the wire on a bench block with
the flat head of a chasing hammer to strengthen.

Hang the oval ring and center dangle on the ear wire.
