Making Beaded Beads
Designed by Katie Hacker

Beaded beads are a snap to make! Use them for earrings, collectible bead bracelets and more.

You’ll need:
15 bicone 4mm or 6mm Swarovski Elements beads
12” length of .015” diameter silver Beadalon 49
Beadalon bead stringing glue
wire cutters

  1. String four bicones onto the center of the beading wire.
  2.

  1. Pass the beading wire ends through opposite sides of the last bicone to make a circular stitch.

  1. Pull the stitch tight, then string a bicone onto each wire and pass the ends through the opposite sides of another bicone.

  1. Make four complete circular stitches, then string a bicone onto each wire.

  1. Pass the wire ends through the opposite sides of the first bicone to connect the stitches and form the beaded bead shape.

  1. Pass a wire end through the five bicones on one side of the beaded bead; repeat for the other side.
