Using Sliders as Pendants, Dangles & Drops
Designed by Katie Hacker

Two-hole sliders make it simple to create double-strand designs. But, you can also use them in other ways to create interesting pendants, dangles and drops.

Imitation druzy teardrop sliders make eye-catching design elements for a double-strand focal section.
The lower strand has an additional faceted rondelle
bead in each section to allow for more drape through
the center of the necklace.

To use sliders as dramatic pendants, string beading
wire through the upper holes only. Ceramic 8mm rounds provide a subtle background that allows the slider pendants to really pop!

Use a wire-wrapped loop to transform a pretty slider into a distinctive pendant: Cut a 6" length of 20-gauge wire. Make a wrapped loop on one end of the wire – slip the slider loop onto it before wrapping closing the wire loop. Pass the wire through a series of beads, and then make another wrapped loop to hang it on a necklace chain.
