Faux Goodness Sake: Embellish Cuff with
The Swarovski Applicator Tool
By Create Your Style with SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS Ambassador
Laura Timmons of Vintage Moon CreationsÔ

Dreamtime SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS Needed:
*Rose Pins, Size ss34, Fuchsia (4), Crystal AB (4), and Topaz (3)
*Crystal Snaps, 2 – both top parts, and bottom parts of the snap
*Crystal Applicator Tool, and dies for snaps, and rose pins
*1 ½ inch faux suede strip in black

Additional Supplies:
*Scissors
*Seamstress marking pencil
*Ruler

Tips:
Read carefully all directions for the Crystal Applicator Tool.  There are some great video tutorials online as well, that will help you get started.  Of course you will have your Beads, Baubles, and Jewels video to guide you through the project as well.  Don’t be afraid – it is extremely easy to use.

Getting Started:
You will want to measure the length of your bracelet – you may want to do this by simply placing it around your wrist, and marking where you want the placement of the bottom part of the snap, with your seamstress pencil.

Almost There:
Using your Crystal Applicator Tool, and your snap dies – working with the top of the snap (crystal part) first, find placement for your snap, and add snaps to your faux suede.  Now you will add the bottom portion of the snap (non-crystal part), but make sure to attach it to the opposite side of the faux suede, so that your snaps will snap to create a cuff – if you place them on the incorrect side, you will have to get an additional cuff, and snaps, and start all over again!

The Finishing Touch:
Now you get to add the pretty colored sparkly stuff!  First change out your die, to the Rose Pin Die set for the ss34 size crystal rose pin.  Starting by the snaps in the center of your cuff, add a Crystal AB Rose Pin to your cuff.  Spacing each Rose Pin about a ½ of an inch apart, add next a Fuchsia, then a topaz, then another Crystal AB, and continue on in this succession, until all of your Rose Pins have been used.
