Wrap It.  Wear It.
Candie Cooper

1 Spool of 18g. Artistic wire in desired color
1 Spool of 20g. Twisted Artistic wire in silver
Silver Twist chain
Duet circle silver clasp, 31.75 mm
5-7 Large novelty focal beads

Tools:
Round-nose pliers
Chain-nose pliers
Wire cutters

There are so many variations that you can do to this necklace—add Quick Links, ribbons, tons of wire and more to make it yours!  Here are the basic instructions:

String the beads onto the spool of 18g. wire.  Finish the end of the wire in a large wrapped loop.

Slide the beads up against the wrapped loop.

Create a second wrapped loop at the end but DON’T cut the wire.  Instead wrap the loop around the first bead, then twice through the center of the beads and onto the next bead.  This is a very random pattern—anything goes!

Wrap until you get to the end so that you have a long bead section wrapped with wire.  Trim the tail of wire.

Optionally, you can wrap a second layer of twisted wire over the first to add more flare and dimension.   I like to wrap in the opposite direction so the wires over lap and cross each other.

Cut the chain to the desired length.  Open a link on the chain and attach the wrapped loop.  Repeat for the opposite side.  Attach the clasp in the same manner to the ends of the chain.
