Knotted Necklace
Candie Cooper

Materials needed
Knot-A-Bead Patent Pending tabletop knotter tool
Silk Cord with needle attached
30 Glass Beads, 12mm
2 Lobster clasps
Focal pedant with two rings
Multi-purpose adhesive

Instructions

  1. String the beads onto the silk cord.
  2. Tie one end of the cord to the lobster clasp with a knot and dot the knot with adhesive (you can also do this step when you are finished knotting—just be sure to leave enough cording to knot).
  3. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for using the knotting tool to create a knot in between each glass bead---do not knot after the last bead.
  4. When you’ve reach the desired necklace length, slide the last bead into place and tie the remaining lobster clasp to the end of the strand.  Dot the knot with adhesive.
  5. Attach the lobster clasps to either side of the focal pendant.

Tip:  You may need to attach jump rings to the pendant’s loops to make it easier to connect the lobster clasps to.
