Copper craft wire
- Cut one length of wire approximately 3 inches longer than desired
finished length of necklace and secure to the circle end of the toggle
clasp with the crimp tube.
- String 2 inches of wire with copper color seed beads (hiding the
excess wire with beads) and continue the length in the following pattern:
1 teal seed bead, 1 copper spacer, 1 teal seed bead, 1 inch of copper
seed beads. Continue this pattern until 3 inches from the end of the
wire. String 1 additional inch of copper beads and secure the wire to
the bar portion of the toggle clasp. Thread the remaining length of
wire back through the seed beads to hide.
- Cut a second length of wire 3 inches longer than the first length
and secure to the circle end of the toggle clasp.
- To create a monochromatic effect of gradually changing colors, follow
this pattern. String 3 inches of teal seed beads, gradually mix in aqua
seed beads for 1 to 1 ½ inches followed by 1 metal dangle. String
1 inch of aqua seed beads followed by the metal dangle 3 times. String
1 inch of mixed aqua and midnight blue seed beads followed by 1 metal
dangle, 1 inch of midnight blue beads only, 1 metal dangle, 1 inch of
mixed aqua and midnight seed beads, 1 metal dangle, 1 inch of aqua seed
beads, 1 metal dangle, 1 inch of mixed aqua and teal seed beads, 1 metal
dangle, 1 inch of mixed aqua and teal seed beads. Finish the strand
with teal seed beads.
- Secure with a crimp bead and hide the excess tail by stringing back
through the beads.
- If the glass pendant is pierced directly through from the front to
back, attach to the necklace with a wrapped loop using a 3 inch length
of wire.
- Attach the picture frame charm and heart tag with a jump ring made
from copper wire to the loop of the circle portion of the toggle clasp.
