Instructions

  1. String a bead onto the center of the wire.
  2. Place the bead over the ring mandrel two sizes larger than desired ring size. Coil one wire above the bead three times around the mandrel and one wire below the bead three times around the mandrel.
  3. Wrap one wire end clockwise around the bead, then wrap the other counter-clockwise around the bead, leaving a couple of inches at the end of each wire.
  4. Remove the ring from the mandrel and coil one end of the wire 5-6 times around the ring near one end of the bead; repeat for the other side.
  5. Trim the wire ends if necessary and use chain-nose pliers to press the wire end in to prevent snags.

Instructions

  1. Make a large wrapped loop on one end of the wire, attaching it to the chain and leaving more extra wire than usual.
  2. Pass the wire through the bead and make another wrapped loop to connect the other end to the end of the chain.
  3. Coil the extra wire back over the original coil to make it extra chunky, then cut off any extra wire and use chain-nose pliers to press the wire end in; repeat for the other end of the wire.
  4. Measure the bracelet (allowing for the clasp) and cut or separate the chain to meet the desired length.
  5. Open the last link on one end of the bracelet and attach it to the clasp.
