Materials Needed
20 gauge half-hard round wire
One donut – 30 mm – 50mm
An assortment of 4mm to 8mm beads
One yard of leather (or other suitable cord)
Two cord ends (to connect your clasp to the leather)
One hook and eye clasp
Beadalon® chain nose pliers
Beadalon® flush wire cutters

Instructions
Start with a 24” piece of wire, pulled straight. String the donut onto it so that about 3” of wire sticks out through the front of the donut and the rest hangs out the back.
Hold the 3” piece of wire down onto the front of the donut with your thumb. Pull the long piece of wire down the back, around to the front, and through the front of the donut. Make sure the wire is snug against the donut. Pull the long piece down the back again and around to the front.
String a bead onto the wire and put it through the hole again so that the bead lies on the front of the donut. Pull the wire snug against the donut. Repeat this step, adding a bead to each new wrap, until there is 6” of wire left.
Wrap the wire around the donut one more time without a bead, ending with the wire on the front of the donut. Snip both ends of the wire down to about 2”.
5. Make flat scrolls with these 2” ends of wire. Finish by stinging the donut onto a piece of cord and attach a clasp with cord ends.
