Instructions

1. Begin by cutting 3-22” lengths of silk strands, 1 length from each of the 3 colors. Holding the ends of the 3 Silk Strands together by one end, secure those ends together with the Medium Crimp. Cut a 28” length of Large Wide Curb Silver Chain and thread the Green Silk Strand through the first link. Slide the chain up the Green Silk Strand as close to the Medium Crimp as possible and secure into place by tying the Silk Strand in a knot around the link.

2. Thread the Green Silk Strand onto the Big Eye Needle and weave through the entire length of chain. Remove the needle and knot the end around the last link, leaving about a half inch of Green Silk Strand exposed.

3. Thread the Natural Silk Strand onto the Big Eye Needle and begin stringing with a combination of glass and silver beads. The beads will require persuasion to fit onto the silk cord and will float approximately 1” apart onto the strand. String the Natural silk Strand with 4 Matte Glass Beads (of desired colors) interchanged with a Silver Ball in between After the fourth Matte Glass Bead, add another Silver Ball followed by the Large Glass Drop Pendant and remove the Crafting Needle.

4. Thread the Aqua Silk Strand onto the Big Eye Crafting Needle and string the beads alternating as in Step 3, but beginning with the silver Ball and ending with the Matte Glass Bead. Thread the Aqua Silk Strand also through the Large Glass Drop Pendant and then finish string the length in the opposite pattern. Remove the Big Eye Crafting Needle

5. Thread the Green Silk Strand onto the Big Eye Crafting Needle and string the remaining half in the opposite pattern used in the first half.

6. Taking the three ends of the Silk Strands together, secure the Silver Crimp as in Step 1. To disguise the crimp with the Spiral Bead Cone, attach an Eye Pin, with the open end toward the pendant. Pull the Eye Pin through and create a plain loop close to the Spiral Bead Cone, trim off any excess wire from the Eye Pin.

7. Setting this end aside, add the Spiral Bead Cone (as done in Step 6) to the opposite side, where the necklace was started. To finish the necklace, add the clasp to each end by opening the plain loop, adding the toggle and securing shut. The finished necklace length is approximately 22”
