Size 5 Pearl Cotton Taupe-approximately 1 yd. for bracelet, 10 ft. for necklace
Large Eye Needle

Bracelet Instructions
1. The project is crocheted with a simple chain stitch and uses a bead as a button closure. First, thread the Pearl Cotton onto the Big Eye Crafting Needle. All the beads for the project must be strung before beginning to crochet. For the bracelet, string the desired colors of beads in the following order: 1 small, 1 large, 1 small. Repeat 4 more times and add an additional large sized bead. Remove the Big Eye Crafting Needle.

2. Begin crocheting the bracelet by chaining 12 and pull up the first small bead. Slip stitch into the first chain to form a loop and knot to secure. Trim off excess loose length of Pearl Cotton.

3. Chain 1 and pull up the first small bead. Chain 1 and pull up the next large bead. Chain 1 and pull up the next small bead. Chain 3 and repeat this process for 4 more segments.

4. Chain 3 – 7 more to accommodate a larger wrist, and pull up the last large bead. Do not chain after this. Pull the loose length of Pearl Cotton, loop around the bead and knot it to the last crocheted chain. To secure the bracelet on the wrist, push the last bead through the crocheted loop created in Step 1 as you would do a button.

The necklace is created in the same manner as the bracelet, but with a longer length of Pearl Cotton and more beads. In the featured necklace, instead of following a pattern, the beads were designated randomly and only one chain was crocheted in between each bead.
