Instructions
1. This necklace and bracelet set uses a technique reminiscent of braiding to weave lengths of bead wire through and around modern Sparkling Cat’s Eye beads. Begin the necklace by cutting 3-24” lengths of bead wired. The finished necklace is 18” long, but extra bead wire length is required to compensate for the weaving technique. Begin by taking all 3 lengths of bead wire together and stringing through a large Crimp Bead. Loop all 3 lengths together around a Jump Ring and push the ends back through the Large Crimp Bead. Crimp the Large Crimp Bead with the Crimping Tool.

2. Before beginning to string the necklace, string on one green “E” bead from any package of green Sparkling Cat’s Eye beads to hide the exposed ends of wire. The look of the necklace and the bracelet is one that does not use a pattern. The order of the beads is selected randomly. One technique to help with random selection is to remove all beads from the packaging. Group together in one pile and take a bead without selecting.

3. String the necklace in the following manner: taking 2 lengths of wire together, string on one bead; separate one length from those two and join the third length, taking these two together, string on one bead; again, separate one length and join the other two together and add another bead. This technique should feel like braiding. Repeat this step until you have reached the desired length for the bracelet or necklace, approximately 18” for the finished length.

4. To finish the necklace, take all 3 lengths of bead wire together again and string through a green “E” bead and one Large Crimp Bead. Loop the lengths, as in
Step 1, through the Jump Ring and follow back through the Large Crimp Bead and the green “E” bead. Crimp the Crimp Bead and trim away any excess bead wire.

5. To complete the project, attach the necklace to the Toggle Clasp using the Jump Rings.

6. Repeat Steps 1-6, but use a shorter finished length approximately 7-8”, to make the bracelet.
