Instructions:

1. Fill the bowl of the beading spinner with an assortment of seed beads, until it’s 1/2 full. Blend many colors of seed beads to complement the dichroic beads.
2. Cut 1 yard of thread; thread on your beading spinner needle.
3. Follow the instructions that came with your beading spinner for proper stringing instructions.
String on 16” of beads, set aside.
4. Repeat Step 3, stringing four 16” strands of beads; set aside.
5. Cut 4” of gold-filled wire, blunt cut one end.
6. Grasp the blunt end of the wire with round-nose pliers. Rotate your wrist to form a loop. Regrip the wire, with the pliers, and make another loop that rests right up against the first loop – like a key ring. Bend the remaining length of straight wire to a 90° angle, up from the loops.
7. Thread one end of one 16” strand through the 20mm diamond and then through the loop on the wire made in Step 6. Take the other end of the same strand and make a surgeon’s knot with the two ends; cinching the knot until the beads from each end meet. Make another knot for extra security. You can apply a dab of glue to secure the knot as well.
8. Repeat Step 7 until you’ve passed all 4 strands through the diamond and through the loop; set this aside.
9. Cut 1 ½ yards of thread; thread on the beading spinner needle. String 4” of seed beads, 1 rondelle, 1 6mm dichroic bead, 1 rondelle, 4” of seed beads, 1 rondelle, 1 8mm dichroic bead, 1 rondelle, 3” of seed beads, 1 rondelle, 1 dichroic disk, 1 rondelle, 5” of seed beads, 1 rondelle, 1 8mm dichroic bead, and 1 rondelle. Pass through the 20mm diamond, then continue stringing 20” of seed beads; set this aside carefully.
10. Cut 1 ½ yards of thread; thread on the beading spinner needle. String on 38” of seed beads, pass through the 20mm diamond. Set the strands aside carefully.
11. Cut 1 ½ yards of thread; thread on the beading spinner needle. String 6” of seed beads, 1 rondelle, 1 dichroic disk, 1 rondelle, 8” of seed beads, 1 rondelle, 1 6mm dichroic bead, 1 rondelle, and 4” of seed beads. Pass through the 20mm diamond, then continue stringing: 1 rondelle, 1 13mm dichroic bead, 1 rondelle, 3” of seed beads, 1 rondelle, 1 6mm dichroic bead, 1 rondelle, 2” of seed beads, 1 rondelle, 1 13mm dichroic bead, 1 rondelle, and 11” of seed beads.
12. Cut 1 ½ yards of thread; thread on the beading spinner needle. String 9” of seed beads, 1 rondelle, 1 dichroic disk, 1 rondelle, 5” of seed beads, 1 rondelle, 1 6mm dichroic bead, 1 rondelle, 1 ½” of seed beads, 1 rondelle, 1 dichroic disk, 1 rondelle, and 4” of seed beads. Pass through the 20mm diamond and continue stringing: 1 rondelle, 1 8mm dichroic bead, 1 rondelle, 1 ½” of seed beads, 1 rondelle, 1 6mm dichroic bead, 1 rondelle, 2” of seed beads, 1 rondelle, 1 13mm dichroic bead, 1 rondelle, and 13 of seed beads.
13. Repeat Steps 5-6.
14. Thread one end of the strand created in Step 9 through the loop created in Step 13. Tie a surgeon’s knot with the other end of the same strand. Cinch the knot down until the beads from both ends meet. Tie another surgeon’s knot. Add a drop of glue for added security, if you’d like.
Repeat Step 14 for the 3 remaining strands.
15. Trim all thread ends.
16. Place a cone onto the length of wire extending above the beads. Begin a wrapped loop. Before completing the loop, thread on one half of your clasp. Complete the loop and make a neat wrap with the wire. Trim any excess wire and tuck in the end to finish.
17. Repeat Step 16 for the other end of the necklace and the other half of the clasp.
