Pure Allure “Crystal Innovations” designer components make it possible to create your own high fashion jewelry at home. Take a look at your favorite components and think outside the box. With a little imagination, an earring can become a multi-strand connector, a clasp can become a focal point, or a slider can become a pendant.

Material needed

Sapphire 13x12mm portrait double-hole Pure Allure “Crystal Innovations” slider
7 sapphire 6mm bicone Swarovski® crystal beads
Victorian oval Pure Allure “Crystal Innovations” toggle clasp
3 ½” length of silver Figaro chain
6 silver head pins
4” length of 20-gauge silver Colourcraft™ wire
48” length of .018” silver-plated Beadalon® 49 beading wire
2 silver #3 crimp beads
2 silver crimp covers
Beadalon® round nose pliers
Beadalon® chain nose pliers
Beadalon® wire cutters
Beadalon® crimping tool

Instructions:

1. Make a loop on one end of the 20-gauge wire. Pass the wire through a hole on the slider.

2. With the wire running along the back of the slider, pass it through the hole on the opposite end of the slider, then pass it back through the other hole on the same side to make a u-shape.

3. Pass it through the hole on the original end of the slider and make another loop to complete the hanger. Cut off any extra wire.

4. String a crystal bicone onto a head pin and make a wrapped loop to attach it to the u-shaped wire below the slider.

5. String two crystal bicones onto a head pin and make a wrapped loop to attach it to the u-shaped wire below the slider.

6. Repeat Step 4.

7. Cut the Figaro chain into two 1” lengths and one 1 ½” length.

8. String a crystal bicone onto a head pin and make a wrapped loop to attach it to the last link on one piece of chain. Repeat this step for each remaining bicone.

9. Attach a 1” piece of chain to the left of the double-beaded dangle on the pendant.

10. Attach a 1” piece of chain and a 1 ½” piece of chain to the right of the double-beaded dangle on the pendant.

11. Cut the Beadalon wire in three equal lengths and braid them together. Pass one end through a crimp bead, half of the clasp and back through the crimp bead. Crimp it. Repeat for the other end.

12. Attach a crimp cover to each crimp bead.

13. Open the loops on the slider’s wire hanger, slip them over the center of the necklace, and close the loops.
